FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. QUESTION: Does this machine filters fluoride from the tap water? Does it add minerals to the water?
ANSWER: Fluoride is naturally filtered by ionization, breaking the fluoride up and passing it as waste out the acid tube. This is better than “filtering” as its not getting “caught” by a filter that all your water passes through, creating a possible “build up” problem.
Kangen Ionizers do not add minerals no. But it concentrates your beneficial minerals already existing in the water. That again is a byproduct of ionization, as it draws those alkaline minerals to the drinking water, that’s in fact, that makes the water “alkaline”. If your water is dead, like R/O water, it will not ionize, no minerals will be “added”.
2. QUESTION: I have a question can people with kidney disease drink pH7.0 water in Kangen Machine ?
Answer: They should drink 8.5, 9.0, or 9.5 pH like us, which has the high electrical charge and is super hydrating. If they drink a bottle of normal, big water, they absorb about 20% and digest 80% of that water.
With Kangen Water it’s restructured, small water, and it can get absorbed much better. With Kangen water it’s opposite, 80% absorption before it hits your stomach and digests the remaining 20%. So. The water is 4x more absorbent than regular water. Ultimately meaning, the same amount of water will give them more bang for their buck. Hope that helps.
3. QUESTION: Can I boil the kangen water?
Answer: The Kangen water has 3 main properties and depends what you do the properties of the water will reduce:
Boiling:
– the pH a little from 9.5 to maybe 8.5 .
– The anti-oxidant property will disappear (the negative ORP) the reason being when you boil, the hydrogen will evaporate and the anti-oxidant property will disappear. (which is the most important property for maximum health benefits)
– Hydration level of the original water will be unchanged.
4. QUESTION: If I put the Kangen water in a plastic gallon jug, to take with me on trips, does the water lose its akalinity?
Answer: There will be 5 main factor that will affect the alkalinity and anti-oxidant properties:
a. Heat – keep the water in cold or cool place to preserver the quality
b. UV light – store the water in dark container or bag to stop the UV from penetrating into the water
c. Motion – Try not to shake the water too much.
d. Air – when exposed to air, the water will change it alkalinity (carbon dioxide in the air will acidify the water). The anti-oxidant also will be effect as the air will oxidize th water. Antioxidant property can only be kept for 12-24 hours (negative ORP). Beyond that only alkalinity remains for at least one week if you can maintain the factors mentioned above
e. Time of course.. – even you keep the properties mentioned above in checked. The quality of the water will degrade with time, Anti-oxidant = 24hrs, alkalinity=2 weeks, hydration= good for long, alkaline minerals= will always be good but may precipitate out into the water if left too long
